Dr. Julie Robinson, ND completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at St. Francis Xavier University. During her time in the program, she became acutely aware of the importance of complementary care alongside conventional care, to better serve the whole patient and improve overall health outcomes. This led to her enrolment in the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), where she completed her 4-year degree to become a Naturopathic Doctor.
Julie has 3 primary focus areas: supportive cancer care, addressing cardiovascular disease risk, and menopause. While cancer remains the leading cause of death in Canada, cardiovascular disease is the second which fuels her passion in supporting individuals that have conditions that increase their risk of cardiovascular disease such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or a family/personal history of cardiovascular disease. Her passion for supporting women suffering during menopause is driven by a desire to validate their symptoms and provide options to improve their quality of life during this transition. Overall, she strives to increase health span which entails providing care to patients to allow for optimal quality of life into their elder years.
Julie’s hobbies include hiking, camping, and traveling with her husband and dog. These interests have led to unique life experiences such as living in Jasper National Park and trekking in the Himalayas.

Andrea White is trained as a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach (FMCHC) and is a Health Coach Alliance Registered Health Coach (HCA-RHC™).
Andrea trained through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA). The FMCA Health Coach Certification Program is the only program designed and delivered in collaboration with The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), which sets the standard for education, training, and clinical practice on a global scale for functional and integrative care. The FMCA is approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching and is an approved school by The Canadian Health Coach Alliance.
Andrea is passionate about supporting individuals on their health journey and offering a holistic approach to illness prevention and health restoration.
As a previous Canadian National 400m Hurdler, Andrea has always understood the power of the mind-body connection, nutrition and lifestyle factors to optimize outcomes and achieve athletic goals, and equally their connection to chronic ill-health & compromised quality of life.
Andrea offers integrative and functional medicine health coaching consultations for a variety of health conditions. Andrea offers patients an opportunity to dig deeper into the root cause of their symptoms through the functional medicine approach to health and wellness. Through the CHI, Andrea works in conjunction with Dr. Junek, offering evidence-based health coaching techniques and lifestyle counselling (such as diet, exercise, and stress reduction), to support patients in implementing the necessary change to treat a variety of health conditions. Her role also involves helping triage patients waiting to see Dr. Junek to enable potentially faster access to care through a shortened initial appointment with Dr. Junek.
Andrea aims to help facilitate change, using positive psychology to overcome the Intention-Behavior Gap—the gap between your goal and the day-to-day actions and habits that move you closer to that goal. Andrea’s approach to healing and coaching is a collaborative, client-led process. Together, realistic plans to reach your goals and regain your health will be established, and methods for accountability implemented so that success can be maintained.
Andrea has spent the past 15 years living in Germany, and is thrilled to be back in Ottawa to raise her two little girls and explore the Gatineau trails running with her dog!
